So far so good I am still alive. 00:05 AM.
It is 9:34 AM the big snow hasn’t started yet. I have fed and watered the cats had breakfast. I should go out and chop but haven’t yet. I am still hurting today, It could be from chopiing by hand but I think its more much more.
Do you know how to chop wood in a snowstorm? Quickly, efficiently. My face was cold when I was done. I was happy to get it inside.
I had the generator running for about an hour in the snowstorm. Suddenly it shut off. I went out to check it, and it was brutally hot. I could hear the gas in the tank boiling. I made a big mistake then. I thought I would release some pressure in the gas tank. The gas came shooting out and poured all over the hot engine. I grabbed the gen and got it outside before it could blow up.
It is minus 7 out right now what would the thing do in summer. I am thankful I was spared today. That superheated gasoline sprayed all over me, the floor of my woodwork shop and a very hot engine. It could have killed all of us. I was very lucky.
