“I put my heart and my soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process.”

Vincent Van Gogh

It is dark and gray outside, I can see the beginnings of more snow. My health today is marginal. That is good for me. Only slight dizziness, pain is mostly in my left shoulder unless a small kitten steps on my broken foot. That isn’t much fun, lots of deleted expletives.

That’s swearing for the simple folks like me. Which I did do and again when my $7.99 on sale Canadian tire corn broom snapped in two again and sliced through my finger. I was doing things I shouldn’t do with a broom. I just needed it to push a difficult piece of wood out of the way so I could sweep. It is repaired again white glue dripping.

I am almost out of wood again. I only have 3 small logs left to split. I don’t feel much like chainsawing, I am hoping to tackle cleaning the top of my desk today. Maybe even find my van keys. It is the most likely location.

I just looked at my finger it needs a couple of stitches, for me, that means either super glue or a wrap of gorilla tape. I tried that a few weeks ago. I had a slice on my finger that was longer than the width of the gorilla tape (no I am not paid for promoting any products). After a few days, I had a look under there, where the tape was the slice was joined together and healed. Below that it was not. My finger was a ghostly white under the tape but healed.

I am up in my loft typing this it is the only cat-free room in the heated part of the house. The only thing that lives here now is a few plants, some parsley and some kale, which I need to remember to water more often.

I have to go soon the fridge motor tinnitus has started again it is deafening. I understand it means I am going deaf. Too many miles with too many smiles on the Harley.  Worth it.

On my way to the surgery, where the tape is 😣

Wow, got very sick. I made some quinoa macaroni with tuna. Big pain everywhere. Not sure I can do anymore work today.

I have survived whatever the health crisis was I  had this evening. It wasn’t food poisoning it was something else. It was brutal. Chest pains, breathing problems,  dizziness, headaches, nausea all at once. I have a bad pain left side of my abdomen.

Tinnitus is back. I need to have something making noise it is the silence that is hard. Lately, it’s binge-watching DS9. If I keep that playing I don’t notice the deafening noise. I am almost done that soon on to STV.

And the original which I experienced in concert.
