It is late evening as I type listening to violent thunder and pouring rains.
I had a productive day,well at least for me. I managed to work on the deck for a few hours. I got a few more boards in place.
As soon as I add lag bolts and braces I could be screwing down deck boards. I will need to run into the town to get some deck stain before that. I would like this deck to last a few years. Some of the boards I used have already been exposed to years of weather and are questionable at best.
This is a use what I have available project like so many others. I just pray it holds up over winter and the weight of the snow which will arrive soon.
I felt the cold this morning and with the leaves changing, winter is not far away.
