All things are difficult before they are easy.

I woke knowing, that eventually today I would fire up Gracie or try to. I need to go to town to pick up cat food. My spine is extremely sore. It was going to be interesting. There were over a hundred pounds of cat food and some parcels waiting at the post office. I also needed to pick up a few groceries.
Would Gracie start and make it in, would Rod be able to survive the back pain? Would the road be icy because of last night’s snowfall? These are questions I could only answer by going.
I looked out and during the night some snow had covered the solar panels. I put on boots and gloves and ran out there to sweep it off. I didn’t put on overalls or hat or even combed my hair just a mad dash to the panels and run back in. Just sweatpants and a t-shirt. I forgot to get snow to melt, back out there. I forgot to take a few pics back out again. It was frosty but not as bad as in recent days.
Me and Gracie made it to town, got our parcels and some groceries. I could hardly walk whatever is happening is worse today. Then to add to my day, I lost one of my new Bluetooth buds in the store 40 km away. I phoned they found it. But it meant another trip in.
Also, my little demons shredded a roll of toilet paper, I know right the stuff is like gold.
The worst part I still needed to chop wood. With only one earbud and extreme pain, I was going out there. How fooked up is that.
I couldn’t go out to chop wood, I will ration the wood I have and bundle up. the temp inside will drop, but I will survive the night.
