Almost another month starting. Heat warning in place. They say 35 c today. After going thru 49 earlier this year that should be easy. I hope.
I had hoped to work on my entertainment center, but when I took off the clamps, I noticed a mistake. I had to re glue and use a thin screw to repair it. Now I wait for glue to dry.
Gone are my hopes of working in a cool woowork shop. By the time the glue dries it will be 30 in there. I had hoped to sit out the heat wave playing videos game in the coolest room I have.
That’s not what is going to happen.
I went to work in the hot shop. Doors for the sides are now done. Glued and clamped. It would be a few hours dying , even in the heat. Next comes sanding, painting with clear then attaching hinges. Then its time to do the mounting.
I have to mount the monitor and speakers. I dont want those sticking outside so I may have to cut holes so sound can escape. Its looking more and more like tommorrow before I can take Shepard back into battle.
I am taking a deserved heat break, but I do know i also need to some cleanup on the inside. It is also my favourite day, cat litter boxes.
