So far still alive. The fire was headed my way. Just ten kilometers away, the fire can travel that in less than two hours of burning. The big panic, they chose the road I live on as the marker for the fire. Last time the fire was east of me moving west on my road. Now a different fire was moving east towards me. That one is a mega fire. It jumped a river that is near a half mile wide. It is burning in two counties.
The wind has shifted they say and now the wind is blowing back at the fire. Sunday and Monday brings rain. We just need to make it till then.
