Let see if I have enough to say for a second post in one day.
I am excited about the new Starlink internet I ordered. Although my shipping dates have been altered since I ordered yesterday. From June 6 to june 9-15. There was also a $60 shipping fee not mentioned anywhere until checkout.
I also ordered a Bluetti 268wh lipo battery station (on sale). I figure I will need it at night. The good thing is I can charge it with a 200w solar panel and AC generator and at the same time and I can charge it from the solar battery bank as well. I can dedicate a 200 Watt panel just for that.
I am concerned about where I will locate the dish. Not crazy about leaving it in the front yard unattended sitting on the grass. I can focus a security cam on it but that doesn’t stop thieves.
I can’t put it on any of the roofs because of a big tree, my favorite tree. I will have to look at a pole mount, if I do that might as well pole mount the solar panels too. Oh and the wind generators. I have ten days to find a way.
Right now I need to fire up the gen, not quite enough to charge solar today I plan to backup the laptop onto the NVME.
Oh oh my wildfire is burning again. I just read this warning. It is closer to my land now.
GWF018 has been reclassified as Out of Control (OC). It is now estimated to be 48,686 ha in size and 80 per cent contained. Yesterday, under dry, windy conditions, the wildfire experienced increased activity on the north and east flank and grew by approximately 800 ha.
