What you put into life is what you get out of it.

Clint Eastwood

I think Deakes is gone, but to make sure she will stay with us another 24 hours.

She was a good friend for more than 15 years. I will miss her. As I went down to get another bag of food for the cats, I heard a yowling from under the house. It was another of the 3 missing orange cats. Skinny but very friendly. I carried him back through the house to the boy cats room. Then I went back to the van for cat food. I am still in a lot of back pain, last night was  very painful night not much sleep happened. Movement today was in slow motion. I looked down to see cat water bowls empty. I would have to lift and carry a water jug. TG it was half empty. I filled the bowls, locked down the doors and went to pour a cold coffee. A hot one would have been nicer, but my back said no.

Vitamins and cold brew for breakfast so far. I will try for more later. I did have a quick  look at the solar panels. The regular panels covered in ice with a frosting of snow. The bi-facial panels clean and producing power. Outside, a dark and heavy overcast. Right this second the BF panels were making 2.5 Amps or 71W of power.

I am thankful I ran my gen last night before injuring my back. My upstairs LFP was at 90%. My disappointing Bluetti had drained itself to zero without anything running, as it often does. It is my inverter for Xbox and internet. Changing subjects, it will be -14 tonight. I have come up with a way to patch up my chimney temporarily. The bad news is because of my back, I can’t try it. There is another short term option, my local hardware store has a tiny electric heater on sale. Again the bad news, getting in my vehicle and traveling would be too painful. I would have to run the gen to get heat and only my room would benefit. It would only happen a couple of times a week. I just ordered one of those, it won’t arrive till Friday until then -17 with a windchill of -23 at night all week. My room is 11 right now, the cat’s room is 10, that will drop each day.

Solar keeps amazing me, I am making 9.3Amps 254W on a cloudy day. That is awesome, might even get to Starfield for a while. The Xbox is a heat source. Yesterday that added 3 degrees in an hour. I decided on a Clint Eastwood movie marathon, only watching credited roles. The first one with skinny Clint playing a sailor with a talking mule as a co-star. From 1955.
