I knew as soon as I looked at my Bluetti App. Twice the power usauge as normal. That could only mean one thing. Snow.

I went outside to see how it was. An inch of snow had fallen on the back deck. It was coming down lightly. I decided to run the gen just incase later wasn’t an option.

After feeding and petting the cats. The litter boxes need doing. That would mean going out in the snow. No problem.

Whether or not my back could hold up was a different problem. Coffee was poured, breakfast and vitamins soon. I think I would continue inside cleanup, as much as I could do.

The boys room needed doing, my office, the kitchen, the battery room. A cat snuck in there and destroyed it. Shelve knocked over new package of toilet paper sghredded books knocked over. It looked like a grenade went off in a walmart.

That was to be the location for the diesel heater. I had less than 10 days to get it installed and the chimney fixed. I didn’t have faith I would meet any of those deadlines.

If I just accomplish one thing at a time I am satisfied with that. Today was the office.

After breakfast. Oat bran flackes with banana and zero sugar oat milk.

I strained my arm patting myself on the back for running the gen. I didn’t know how the ice melter worked on the Starlink dish. The only thing I knew was that it was a heating element.

What I have learned today is that it stays on during snow. It uses a lot of power. With the router and dish about 100 watts per hour. Right now the solar panels are barely may 16 watts.
