Thousands have lived without love, not one without water.

W. H. Auden

Twelve gallons of water fetched from the pond. One huge litter box emptied. Three more to go. My back already hurting.

After litter boxes, it was time to refill them with wood pellet cat litter. After carying another 40 pound bag up from the garage.

I also have a composting toilet to haul outside to the compost pile and at least 3 jugs of pee at 40 pounds a piece to haul.

I really think that letting that stuff sit in precious water then flushed is a huge waste of a precious resorce wasted. I read about many cities and communities that had problemgs with their water supply. No one sees it. Or they choose not to. Water is our most precious resource and we waste it, watering lawns and worse.

Another litterbox done, both refilled with fresh pellets. Some extra energy was used to haul the apartment sized washer/spin dryer outside. First load, sweat pants. Second more sweatpants, third load bib overhauls.

Generator is running, laundry is agitating, first load is done, bib overhauls are in now. They are too big for the little machine, but it is my only option.  The last of the pond water was needed, water boatmen weeds and all.

I am trying to wait the fifteen minutes, but while I am in pain, patience is in short supply.

My almost last load is in, yes I was wearing them now I am not. My sandals needed doing too, but the idea of walking through the cats room barefoot was not ideal.

I still feel pain in the sole of my right foot.

Sandals no. Spin dryer no, it is dead. Clothes were hung outside dripping.

My days work is done, cats fed and watered, feet extremly sore. I got more work done than most days. Lots more to be done. Tomorrow.
