Never give up. Today is hard, tomorrow will be worse, but the day after tomorrow will be sunshine.

Three wood pallets brought in, gen filled and started cats fed. That took an hour. My back is caved in, breathing is difficult, but I am boiling water for coffee.
The snow is to arrive this afternoon, which is more than I can say about my pension. It is lost both for Oct and Nov. I phoned them again. They say wait another 5 days.
With the postal strike and me without a vehicle, it just didn’t matter. The palletts needed cutting up. Maybe tomorrow after the snow on them melts.
I think thats all for now.
Coffee is made, my dinner is made for two days. Gluten free pasta with veagan cheese. It actually tastes better than it sounds.
I am now sitting in front of the big bowl of snow, melting it for water. Cats and I both need it.
A very slow job, needs to be done at the lowest heat setting. The stainless steel bowl is better suited for salds than melting snow. It is what it is.
The bowl has to be 2 1/2 feet in diameter and a foot deep. Packed and filled with snow it barely makes 2 liters of water.
It will be filled again in the morning then rinse and repeat.

It is noon now. I haven’t had a sip of the coffee I made an hour ago. I got a little bonus I made two and a half liters of snow water. That has been distributed with enough left over for tonight.
The fire I lit this morning long gone cold. I am firing up my secondary heater. My XBOX.
Work is done for now but there will be more later.
Later came and went the gen needed to be dragged inside. Cats were fed and watered again. Solar batteries were full . I hurt worse, muscles sore all over, back pain was severe, I resembled a man from Notre Dame.
I was too sore to light the evening fire. The pallets inside were still snow covered. I came up with a plan for cutting pallets, it involved an extension cord, the gen and a recipricating saw. I know where the gen is. The rest will take some hunting. Tomorrow!!!
